Mask Night Checklist

Purpose:

A Halloween Activity.

Do:

1. Set up a minimum of 4 tables around the room:
   • Construction paper and markers
   • Felt and feathers
   • Beads and pipe cleaners
   • Foam and found objects
2. Gather the cubs.
3. Explain the rules (30 minutes to create a mask).
4. Distribute masks and time event.
5. Gather boys.
6. Distribute ballots. (A hole punch in one end with a twist tie to wraparound a shirt buttton works well.)
7. Have boys write their name on ballot and attach to shirt.
8. Explain rules:
   • Boys walk anround and vote for each other.
   • Boys may not vote for themselves.
   • 10 minutes to vote.
   • Boy with most stickers in category wins a prize.
     • Scariest
     • Funniest
     • Most colorful
     • Most creative
9. Time event.
10. Collect ballots.
11. Ascertain and announce winners.
12. Thank parents and cubs for coming.
13. Give date, place and time of next meeting.
14. Do closing.
15. Reset room and clean up gym.
