Holiday Night Checklist

Purpose:

Perform a community service activity, make gifts, make decorations.

Bring Materials for:

Making greeting cards. Making ornaments. Making toiletry kits. Decorating cookies. Making bird feeders. Collecting toys for battered women's shelter.

Do:

1. Set up a minimum of 5 tables around the cafeteria (remember tablecloths).
2. Set up a toy collection box.
3. Set up each of the stations at a table.
4. Open the meeting and conduct normal business.
5. Explain the different stations and set the time limits.
   1. Each boy is to assemble a toiletry kit.
   2. Each boy is to make a greeting card to go with the toiletry kit.
   3. Each boy to bring a used toy for the battered women's shelter.
6. Time and call rotations.
7. Call group back together.
8. Thank everyone for coming.
9. Give date, place and time of next meeting.
10. Do closing.
11. Reset room and clean up.
12. Deliver toiletry kits to homeless shelter.
13. Deliver toys to battered women's shelter.
